Wow! What a difference a week makes! Can’t wait to see next weeks’ pictures…
Willy and Alena and I have had a great time continuing getting things in the ground, in trays in the greenhouse and watching the foliage around us explode. Makes it all worth it!
We had our first Carrboro Wednesday market this past week with some new weather and products. Thanks so much for coming out and supporting my favorite market! We will bring goat and chicken to Greensboro and Carrboro saturday again and continue to enjoy the warmth. Should be in the 70s this weekend which seems a bit more realistic than the high eighties we just experienced, but I am not complaining about winter to summer just yet.
Grace will be back at Greenboro with chicken and eggs from her farm and of course our products. I do hope you’ll welcome her back after the long winter. She’ll have her excellent fresh birds and cut-ups. She and Jason will switch on and off this spring. We’ll try to keep you informed of what and when and we’ll certainly entertain any feedback. There is talk of getting a new table nearer to one of the doors, so I will let you know of any changes if they occur. This week in Carrboro we will only have proteins. Come try our wonderful duck eggs! Green garlic and lettuce will soon follow. Next year, we’ll have a whole array of veggies this time of year with the tunnel (now almost full!). Check us out on Facebook for more pictures of spring.
See you at market,
the cane creekers
