Once again we’ll be at Greensboro, Saxapahaw, and Carrboro markets with tons of fresh garlic and onions, chard, kale, lettuce, radishes, turnips, strawberries, and cucumbers are coming in by the bushel. It looks like our first heirloom tomatoes will be in next week. We’ll have duck and chicken eggs, turkey, chicken, and all of our pork products including bacon, sausage and prosciutto. We’re working hard to get parsley/parmesan sausage, hotdogs and liverwurst, but this has been an unprecedented year for USDA. Try as they may they are still not a friend to the small processor and therefore the small farmer. Not sure what mother nature will deliver on Saturday but we’ll be there as usual and we look forward to seeing you.
