This has been a wild and humbling week of farming. As hard as it can be to depend on so many people, it’s also been encouraging and inspiring to have such support. With equipment breaking down, the ability to process a continual struggle, and frustrations with the USDA, I have been reminded the reasons that not everyone is farming for a living. I want to knit and make candles! After such a week, I’m especially looking forward to seeing happy customers on Saturday. We will be at the Greensboro and CarrboroFarmers’ Markets with heritage turkey and chicken, lamb and pork, and fingers crossed for bacon. We’ll also have green garlic, spring onions, a variety of kales and lettuces, rainbow chard, cucumbers, and delicious strawberries.
See you at market,
