We are writing you early because we are sitting inside watching the snow fly. Thankfully all the baby lambs, goats and pigs, have arrived before the storm. Everybody is tucked in and will poke their heads out when it is all over. Earlier this week we replanted the entire high tunnel and began getting onions in the ground in order to keep the veggies coming.
Maybe we’ll be having Valentine’s weekend instead of Valentine’s day if the roads stay treacherous through Friday. It is our hope that you come see us at Carrboro on Saturday for your dining-in needs and just to hear stories.
We have a lot of eggs this week, beets, collards, fresh goat and pork, and all the prosciutto you can dazzle your loved ones with. We have had several requests recently to ship prosciutto and ordering is available on the website through paypal:https://canecreekfarm.us/2013/10/24/now-shipping-prosciutto/
