When you picture what kind of summer activities you want most for your child(ren), if it looks like collaborative, meaningful, practical, artistic work and fun fueled by a love for and exploration of the natural world around us, then please join us by securing your spot now for the upcoming 2022 Cane Creek Stewardship Camp (CCSC).
There is a Waldorf adage that says: repetition creates strength. A healthy daily rhythm provides security for children. There is time for connection and reflection, quiet focus and silly fun, and most importantly: hard work and rest. That is how we humans grow. That is how we thrive. Enrolling at CCSC will give your child a place that is ecologically diverse and safe to begin to grow into the human being they came here to be.
We will be gathering as a community, working hard, singing songs to herald in the season and warm the heart. We will practice healthy routines outdoors to strengthen our bodies and immune systems and we will be learning by leaps and bounds as we play together in the fields, forests and creeks under the loving sun. And on the days when Mother Nature gives us rain, we will gather in the historic barns on site to stay warm and dry.
We hope you join us for a summer of beauty and adventure!
Warmly: Shannon O’Connor, Artistic Director/Lead Teacher & Eliza MacLean, Farm Owner
